    About Elecbits

Elecbits is a tech-enabled, full-stack electronics design and manufacturing company that helps global enterprises go from an idea to a shelf-ready, commercial product — covering the end-to-end product development and manufacturing lifecycle via 25+ micro-services on our platform.

Trusted by global enterprises including Panasonic, Schneider Electric, Tesla, Maruti Suzuki, Bosch, V-guard, Ola Electric, Urban Company, Luminous, PhonePe, Escorts Kubota and Napino, we are the largest B2B electronics development and manufacturing platform of its kind, with 3000+ global manufacturers on our platform.

    Key Responsibilities

    Firmware Architecture & Development:

    • Design and develop optimized bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware for embedded hardware platforms.
    • Own the full firmware lifecycle from architecture through production release.
    • Make architectural decisions around memory, power, and real-time performance trade-offs.

    Drivers & Peripheral Integration:

    • Develop and maintain low-level drivers for on-chip and external peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, etc.).
    • Integrate and tune wireless stacks such as BLE and Wi-Fi.
    • Optimize driver performance for latency, throughput, and power consumption.

    OTA, Code Quality & Reviews:

    • Design and implement secure OTA (over-the-air) update mechanisms.
    • Conduct peer code reviews and uphold coding standards across the firmware codebase.
    • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure regression-free releases.

    Debugging & Manufacturing Support:

    • Debug complex hardware-firmware integration issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools.
    • Support manufacturing bring-up and assist production teams during early builds.
    • Diagnose and resolve field issues in collaboration with hardware and QA teams.

    Preferred Skills

    • 5–10 years of professional embedded firmware development experience
    • Familiarity with wireless stacks (BLE, Wi-Fi) and IoT application protocols (MQTT/CoAP)
    • Strong proficiency in C and C++ for resource-constrained environments
    • Hands-on experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX)
    • Working knowledge of ARM Cortex-M MCUs (STM32, nRF52, ESP32, NXP, or TI CC series)
    • Comfortable with Git-based version control workflows
    • Unit testing experience preferred
    • Experience with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, GCP IoT)
    • Exposure to edge computing — local inference, edge-to-cloud sync, fleet management
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for embedded targets.
